School Improvement

The Scroggs Elementary School Improvement Team (SIT) is a state-mandated organization comprising Scroggs staff and elected parents/guardians. We aim to "develop and implement a school improvement plan to strengthen student performance.” The SIT is responsible for:

  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing the School Improvement Plan.
  • Approving the annual capital and operational budget requests to the district and school board.
  • Serving as an advisory group to the principal and providing input on issues such as school climate, safety, and programs.
  • Gathering input from our school community and hearing concerns of families, community members, and staff about school programs.
